Nissan returned to the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show in Las Vegas this week with five diverse offerings created from the Titan XD full-size pickup, Nissan Kicks subcompact SUV and the Nissan 370Z Sports Coupe.

All are favorites of ours, so here is an overview of what Nissan created for SEMA 2018.

TITAN XD at SEMA

The Nissan Titan XD is well featured for customization into conceptual or actual special purpose vehicles.

Since its debut in 2016, Nissan has created several concepts including the Titan Warrior in 2016, the Titan PRO-4X Project Basecamp in 2017 and the Titan Surfcamp earlier this year.

For SEMA 2018, Nissan presents the Ultimate Service Titan and the Paws One Titan.

The B&S Customizing Bed Box is designed to be both a mobile command center and first aid unit for responders when the Ultimate Service Titan gets to the site of a disaster or other emergency.

PAWS ONE TITAN

The newest Nissan Titan XD special purpose vehicle concept is the PAWS ONE Titan.

The 2018 Nissan Titan XD Gas PRO-4X animal rescue vehicle concept was created for the purpose of assisting stranded animals in the wake of disaster.

PAWS ONE, making its debut at SEMA, was built by Hard Notched Customs in collaboration with Animal Rescue Rigs (ARR) a new animal rescue 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to providing support during and after natural disasters.

As with other purpose-built Titan XD concepts, PAWS ONE builds from its comprehensive four-wheel drive and off-road capabilities.

For high water rescues, it is outfitted with a 6-inch lift kit and topped with a military-grade, Zodiac raft designed for search and rescue missions.   PAWS ONE runs on 37-inch mud terrain tires mounted on 18-inch wheels.  At the front, a nose protection unit tops a heavy-duty bumper integrated with a 12,000-lb. winch system for rescue and recovery.

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”http://ticket-1994427.inwheeltime.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/PAWS-ONE-Titan.jpg” alt=”2018 SEMA Nissan” title_text=”2018 SEMA Nissan” _builder_version=”3.17.3″][/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.17.3″]

Also included are a special bed and roof rack for weight bearing and storage.  A BedSlide carries critical medical supplies and recovery tools making them easily accessible.  A comprehensive lighting system provides all-around illumination for rescuers to locate and assist stranded animals at night.

PAWS ONE is scheduled to be deployed under the name of PAWS TWO in 2019. Once in service, PAWS TWO is intended to be operated by highly skilled search and rescue staff along with experts trained to operate specialized vehicles.

Nissan 370Z Project Clubsport 23

Celebrating the iconic 370Z, the Nissan Project Clubsport 23 took an older Nissan 370Z NISMO and replaced the original 350-horsepower 3.7-liter VQ37VHR engine with a factory fresh 3.0-liter VR30DDTT twin-turbo V6 rated at 400 hp.

Extensive enhancements were made to the suspension, steering, braking and cooling system. Exterior and interior modifications include custom body panels and Gloss Burnt Orange body wrap, along with a full roll cage and diamond-pattern upholstery offering a contemporary throwback to the diamond pattern vinyl used in the original 240Z.
