DOOR LOCK WOES

Mike: Thanks for the question. Most of the time, the problem is the power door lock actuator. The actuator is a magnetic solenoid that when energized, moves the lock rod up or down, so you don’t have to do it manually. This is not a real expensive fix, but it is one where you cut up your hands inside the door. I would have them inspect the actuator, and replace it if it indeed is the culprit.
