See more than 80 new vehicles from over 40 manufacturers – in one place

Houston is a very hot automotive market – selling more than 300,000 vehicles in the greater metropolitan area in 2018.   Consumer demand is continuing to move ever more from traditional sedans to SUVs, Crossovers and Trucks. Manufacturers are offering many new vehicles with lots of new features and technology for consumers to consider.

Facing a variety of new choices, there will be only one place in Houston this year where consumers can see more than 80 vehicles and test drive a number of them at the same time – the 36th Houston Auto Show.  Presented by the Houston Chronicle and Houston Automotive Dealers Association, the Houston Auto Show runs January 23-27, 2019 at the NRG Center.

Starting Wednesday, guests can visit with product specialists instead of dealership sales staff to learn about more about the 80 vehicles at the largest auto show of the south. In addition to learning about those different models from manufacturer representatives, guests will be able to see and learn about aftermarket and other automotive related products across the 800,000 square feet of the NRG Center.

The 2019 Show will feature a new Food Truck Parkway with five food truck snack options for guests.  It will also include popular staples like the Ram Ride & Drive Experience and Camp Jeep, and the specialty classic section with more than 50 classic trucks from multiple generations on display.

In addition, In Wheel Time will be on location Saturday, broadcasting LIVE! on SportsMap 94.1 FM, which will also be rebroadcast on ESPN Houston 97.5 FM Saturday afternoon.  Along with guest interviews, there will be new car reviews, the Car Clinic and some additional podcasts that will be broadcast all weekend.
