The 2025 Hot Rod Tour of Texas was a high-octane celebration of American Road Trips!
The event spanned three days and covered almost 500 miles around the Lone Star State. From April 24 to April 27, hot rod enthusiasts from across the country rolled in for this annual rolling car show with everything from classic muscle cars and vintage cruisers to modern cruisers. The tour wound its way through scenic Texas backroads and small towns along the Texas Gulf Coast.
The journey kicked off in Victoria, Texas, where participants had the option of a local shop crawl on Thursday. Then Thursday evening, it was time for registration party around the downtown square. The city puts on a great family event to go along with the car show set around the square.
What sets the Hot Rod Tour of Texas apart is its grassroots, inclusive atmosphere. It’s not a race—it’s a celebration of being on the road, harkening back to a family style cruise in the favorite ‘ride’. Anyone with a passion for custom cars, street rods, and classic rides are welcome. The 2025 tour drew over 300 registered vehicles, making for a great ‘parade’ through many small towns.
