Ram unveils new trucks at State Fair of Texas Auto Show
The team from Ram brand always brings something new (and ‘Texas themed’) to show at the State Fair Auto Show. This year they revealed the 2018 Ram Heavy Duty 2500/3500 Longhorn Rodeo Edition – Southwestern themed – loaded with luxury treatments and added feature capability inside and out.
Also, on display in the Ram Truck Zone at the State Fair are the recently announced 2018 Ram 2500 Mojave Mojo Power Wagon Limited Edition and the new 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel 12 Special Edition trucks. Showing for the first time, they join the line of 2019 Ram 1500 pickups that feature new and expanded technology and are also available with new eTorque fuel saving technology.

The new Ram Rodeo, based on the Longhorn Heavy Duty – is loaded with premium materials adding luxury to the Longhorn interior including a suede headliner and contrasting interior colors like Black and Cattle Tan.

On the exterior, some of the upgrades include body-colored bumpers and side-steps, new RV Match trim colors, 20-inch aluminum wheels with optional painted pockets on single-rear-wheel trucks while Ram 3500 dual-rear-wheel trucks receive 17-inch polished aluminum wheels.
The Ram Rodeo includes a 5th wheel/gooseneck trailer prep package and bed-view camera that delivers a clear view for the driver to align with the hitch point. For comfort, load-leveling and ease of handling when hauling or towing, the Longhorn Ram Rodeo features Ram’s exclusive rear air suspension.
The exterior features are rounded out by the addition of a Mopar bed step and Ram’s skid plate protection group that will remind owners that – although now more luxurious – the Heavy Duty Longhorn Ram Rodeo is very much ready for work too, says Ram.

The Heavy Duty Longhorn Ram Rodeo Edition is available in Crew Cab and Mega Cab, 4×2 and 4×4 configurations. Standard is the 6.4L HEMI V8 or the 6.7L Cummins Turbo-diesel.
Scheduled to be available in third quarter of 2018, the MSRP for the 2018 Ram 2500 Heavy Duty Longhorn Ram Rodeo is $60,790. The 2018 Ram 3500 Heavy Duty Longhorn Rodeo lists (MSRP) for $71,260

Ram 2500 Mojave Sand Power Wagon
The Ram 2500 Power Wagon special edition features the Mojave Sand exterior that has been the fastest selling color on the Ram 1500 Rebel. This the first time the Mojave Sand exterior has been available on another Ram truck. It will be exclusive to the Power Wagon. Accompanying the new color will be all-black wheels and an all-black interior with Ram’s Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen.
